EUCE York Research Grant
The European Union Centre of Excellence at York University is able to offer financial assistance to graduate students and faculty conducting research into topics dealing with any aspect of the European Union, Europe and/or the Canada-EU relationship. These grants are intended to cover expenses incurred which carrying out research and have a maximum value of $1,500 each.
Eligibility: Senior faculty, Junior faculty (non-tenured academic appointments, both tenure-stream and CLA) and post-doctoral, doctoral or masters students enrolled at or employed by one of the following universities:
- York University
- Brock University
- University of Guelph
- McMaster University
- OCAD University
- University of Ontario Institute of Technology
- Ryerson University
- Trent University
- University of Waterloo
- Wilfrid Laurier University

Junior Scholar Conference Grant
The European Union Centre of Excellence at York University is able to offer financial assistance for junior scholars participating in national or international conferences. These awards are intended to reimbursed expenses incurred and have a maximum value of $1,500 each.
Eligibility: Junior faculty (non‐tenured academic appointments, both tenure‐stream and CLA) and post‐doctoral, doctoral or masters students who are participating in a conference directly related to an aspect of the European Union or EU‐Canada relations and who are employed by or enrolled at one of the following universities:
- York University
- Brock University
- University of Guelph
- McMaster University
- OCAD University
- University of Ontario Institute of Technology
- Ryerson University
- Trent University
- University of Waterloo
- Wilfrid Laurier University

European Study Tour Grant
The European Union Centre of Excellence at York facilitates the participation of York students in this worthy program by offering eligible participants grants of up to $1,500 to help defray the costs of taking part in the tour ($1,000 for students who complete only the tour and $1,500 for students who stay on to complete an internship at an EU-affiliated institution).
Eligibility: Any student registered full-time in a York degree program. Preference will be given to students whose degree or research work has a distinctly European Union or European aspect.
