EUCE York is pleased to announce that it is accepting nominations from York graduate students for the 2012 EUCE York Award. This year, EUCE York will present up to two awards of $2,000 each to York graduate students working on a research topic related to the European Union and/or the Canada-E.U. relationship. An information session for students interested in the 2012 European Union Study Tour and Internship Program will take place Tuesday, January 24th from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in room 749 York Research Tower. Students at Canadian post-secondary institutions are invited to submit a written or recorded story about the European Union or Canada-EU relations for a chance to win a trip to Europe and meet the largest permanent press corps in Brussels, the city at the heart of the EU's decision-making machinery. Mr. Aznar was Prime Minister of Spain from 1996-2004 and is on campus speaking in his role as President of the Friends of Israel Initiative.
